Hello,

Let's be direct and to the point: we have received the much awaited C Class locomotives from Bachmann. At the moment we have only the BR black late crest, but the other variations are due in next week. Please note we have very limited stock of them and they have been pre-sold out at Bachmann for more than 4 months.

On the same level of scarcity, Bachmann fish vans are also not available from Bachmann anymore. We have only a few left in stock of the LNER and of the BR bauxite version.

On smaller scale, we are happy to report the release of two new kits from Metcalfe in N gauge: single track engine sheds, available in brick or stone. This is likely to be a nice addition to numerous layouts.

In larger scale, please note we have in stock the Piko conductive paste. It is designed to be used between the fishplates and the rails, making the connection totally waterproof and hence preventing any rust forming or dirt building up. I see no reason not to use it on smaller scale (OO or N) but obviously indoor track should not rust anyway!

Still on the subject of tools, please note we now stock Revell Plasto. This filler is a great alternative to Milliput and fillers from Humbrol and Deluxe Materials. Each filler has its own properties and viscosity, so having a choice is definitely required.

Finally, let me show you yet another marvel from Noch. Probably not to everyone's taste, but you have to recognise the creativity:

As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. And the car park in York Road is still free every Tuesday from 1pm so you can spend the afternoon with us. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
