We would like to thank all of you that have sent in pictures of your projects. In these times of restricted movement we have loved being able to keep in touch and up to date with your goings on. If you would like to share your project with Upstairs Downstairs and our modelling community then send us your pictures.

Unfortunately Metcalfe kits are currently not available as the company is in lockdown. However, this should not prevent you building card kits.

Superquick has been manufacturing hobby products for the railway modelling industry for nearly 60 years. The innovation that is the Superquick pre-cut card kit, has been developed and refined into the product you see today.

There are more than 50 kits in four main categories, all of them in OO gauge:

• Series A: Railway buildings
• Series B: Houses, farm buildings and industrial buildings
• Series C: Low relief buildings
• Series D: Brick and stone textured papers for scratch builders

The kits are easy to assemble by simply extracting the model's cardboard parts from an inlay and gluing together.

You can see the whole range by clicking here however here are a few of the buildings that can find a home on most layouts, including a garage, a hotel, town shops, a church, some terraced houses and a supermarket.

 

 

The railway buildings range is really useful and covers all the bases, from the signal box to the footbridge and platforms. Low relief buildings are great if you have limited space and brick paper useful in most project.
