Hello,

The Isle of Wight Council is supporting us this Saturday: you can park for free in any of the car parks in Sandown from 12pm. This includes car parks in York Road and in St Johns Road, both of which as within 2 minutes walking distance from Upstairs Downstairs. Make the most of it and visit us on Saturday!

The big event of this week is the arrival of the Ambulance Train Pack from Bachmann, in OO gauge. This beautiful set contains a locomotive, three coaches and a set of WWI figures, all in a very nice box. Livery is great and different from usual and the box is something you will keep as it has got this timeless appeal.

We have also received from Hornby some green Mk1 coaches with light. We have limited quantities so get them while you still can.

From Corgi, we have two Routemasters. The classic one (red double decker) and the new one (red double decker). Well, as they are both red and double decker, we are a bit unsure as to what the difference is, but experts will certainly be able to tell from the pictures below.

On our Facebook page, we have posted pictures sent by a few readers of this newsletter. You will be ble to get details on a very exciting HOf layout as well as a control panel made with more than a few LED lights! There is a lot more on our Facebook page, so have a look now if you have not been recently.

Narrow gauge modellers will be delighted to know we have in stock the narrow gauge station from Bachmann. It is designed for OO9 layouts but is probably suitable for any country based layout in OO gauge.

And the set of figures of the week is this great set from Preiser with no less than 24 figures. This is a complete wedding party with priest, bride, groom, maids of honour, guests, etc. If you have a church, you know how to fill it!

Finally, we would like to remind you we do gift vouchers. So if you are unsure what to get for a loved one, you have the answer and they will not be disappointed.

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. And the car park in York Road is still free every Tuesday from 1pm so you can spend the afternoon with us. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
