We are open this week as usual, apart from New Year's Day. That means we are open Tuesday and then Thursday to Saturday, from 10am till 4.30pm. We are closed on Sundays in January.

Whatever the size of your layout, you rely on the track carrying enough current to power the trains. This track tester will tell you whether you have enough or not and will help troubleshoot issues. It works on analogue and DCC and is compatible with OO et N gauge.
Backscenes help create the atmosphere of your layout or diorama. They also hide the real world. They exist in a variety of styles from traditional paintings to photographic images and in several sizes. While there is no real scale to a picture, in N gauge you may prefer to have smaller images. However, this is your layout so it is your choice!
Please note several of our backscenes can be combined together to create a larger image. Simply look for the reference of the backscene and the letter of the set. For instance 207A will connect seamlessly to 207B which will connect as well to 207C and so on.
We offer about 100 backscenes but please note our favourite is the overcast sky, suitable for most locations in the UK. You can see the full range there and there. There are two categories as some are "officially" scale specific while others are not.

Chains are
present in lots of places on a layout: on cranes, in yards, etc... They
are also great items to have if you are doing any scratch-building. We
carry several sizes in stock. Click on the pictures to see them all.

As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
