Woodland Scenics is a great company. They also try to innovate, but they do it differently: they are not trying to come up with totally new ideas but usually improve on existing ones to create the ultimate solution to a common problem.
Having addressed lighting with the Just Plug System and water effects with the Water System, they have recently released the Field System (click on the name for the full range), to create realistic grass and fields.
Please note, we do have the whole range in
stock at the moment, however if we run out, just contact us with what you require. We
get weekly deliveries from them so you will not have to wait for long.
Their static grass applicator is called the Static King and it really deserves the name. It is big and comes with a transparent bowl so you can see how much grass is left. It can be used with batteries or with a power supply for that extra "ooomph" (technical term). If you have smaller areas to do or are new to static grass, you should consider the starter kit or the shaker.
The range of static grasses is very large, from 2mm to 12mm in several shades from green to straw.
To clean after you, they have created a very nice hand held vacuum cleaner: powerful enough to suck up all the loose scatter and grass but not too powerful so it will now destroy the scenery. It also allows you to re-use any material that you gather that way.
Finally, they have released several adhesives to answer all the needs of anyone creating a field, a hill or adding grass to a layout.

As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street or for as long as you want on the esplanade. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
