No matter what scale your layout is, it is quick and easy to add some very impressive water features, from a small stream coming out of a culvert to a lake, pond or river beside the track, with Woodland Scenics water products. They are easy to use and you can watch videos with full details on our website.
Here is for instance all you need to create a lake or the sea:
Gone are the days of having to use extremely smelly two-part epoxy resins. With the Realistic Water you can pour straight from the plastic bottle on to the desired area.
If you want to give your pond or rivers edge a bit more detail and realism you can add colour tints to the water. These will give the water a coloured yet opaque look, allowing you to see in to the water rather than just looking at it. There are several colours to choose from to get the look that you want in various shades of greens, browns and blue. Here are a few:
If you don't want the aggravation of mixing the tint to the water solution you can get it already prepared. This will save time in measuring out the correct amount of tint. The murky set is perfect to create a canal or a pond:
It is also possible to create realistic ripples and waves for a truly dramatic look to your waterscape. The nice thing with this is that it doesn't shrink when it sets:
