This system has been around for a little while now. We are talking about Woodland Scenics Just Plug system.
With a lighting hub and set of either street lights or internal lights you can transform the look of your layout and buildings. The light hub even has dimmer switches to create the right look from the LED bulbs.
The combination of lights is limitless very easy to fit, no complicated wiring or soldering involved. A must for any layout.
Woodland Scenics have thought of everything: not only are there a variety of lamp posts from cast iron Victorian lamp posts to modern wooden one, there are also wall mounted lights as well.

Coach Lighting for OO scale and N gauge
Some coaches these days have lighting already built in but there are many out there that don’t! we have the answer with the help of Train Tech.
They are LED strips that simply fit to the ceiling of your coaches and no need for soldering or wiring.
They run using a long-life button cell battery. They are motion sensitive, so as the train starts to move, they come on and will stay on while in motion and will remain on for up to four minutes while stationary at signals or in the station.
Ingenious!
And they come with different lighting options.
