Hello,

Here is a nice picture we posted on our Facebook page earlier this week. As we stock model railway as well as military plastic kits, we thought it represented us quite well! Simply click on the picture to see it full size on Facebook.

What do you think of the following coach being used as a bridge? Maybe this could be the solution to link the Isle of Wight to the mainland? Once again you can click on the pictures below to access the full size version as well as extra pictures, showing more details.

Following a review of our website, we have identified several ways to make it easier to find what you require. We have started in OO gauge in the scenery section. Here is the - hopefully - improved result. Your comments and suggestions, for this category or any other, will be greatly appreciated.

So if you want to add plants or flowers to your layout, the choice is enormous in OO scale. Here are a few possibilities that have caught our eyes:

28mm (1/56) is a strange scale with no natural origin however it is now established as a common scale in wargaming. This means you can get highly detailed, easy to build kits which offer great value. One manufacturer focusing on WWII vehicles in 28mm is Rubicon. Their range is growing regularly and the packaging is great. You can see the full range on our website or here is a small selection to get you started:

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street and for as long as want on the Esplanade. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm and Sunday 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
