Hello,

First, there seems to have been a typo in last week's newsletter, creating an issue with the unsubscribe link. Sorry about that.  If you do not want to receive this newsletter anymore, simply click on the link at the bottom of this email, it should be working now.

While we are on the matter of links in the newsletter, you will find at the bottom another link to forward this email to friends and family. If you know anyone who could be interested, feel free to use the link provided!

Regarding holidays this year, please note we are open as usual and simply closed on Bank Holidays. So we are open between Christmas and New Year from the 27th till the 31st.

You may know that we distribute 28mm tanks from Die Waffenkammer. The picture below shows part of our next delivery ready to be sent to us. There is however a minor delay as we reported on Facebook, due to packing boxes being unavailable. As soon as everything is neatly packed, the parcel will be on the way to Europe. In the meantime, we still have some items in stock like the Locust or the Tiger II. Click on the pictures for more details or click here to see the whole range including more than 70 different items we have in stock.

The Annual Railway Modeller is the sister publication to Railway Modeller and features 124 pages of content: modelling china clay trains, review of the year, the HST, station forecourts, TT gauge, Rapido Trains, etc. Well worth the price and full of reference information you will keep.

If you are making the most of your free time during this festive period, you are likely to build a few wagons as they are great fun and you can always have more on any layout. Once built you probably want to add a few numbers and letters for extra realism. After all, no wagon would be allowed to run without markings!

Woodland Scenics makes a full range of letters and numbers in various sizes, fonts and colours. They are suitable not only for rolling stock but also for signs. They also do stripes suitable for lining. Here are a few examples:

HMRS (The Historical Model Railway Society) produces its own range of transfers based on historical information. Each sheet is specific to a region and is packed with enough transfers to do tons of projects. Here are some examples for SR and LBSC, LMS and LNER.

Finally, just a quick reminder gift vouchers are available all year round. If you are looking for a present for someone or a beloved one does not know what to give you for your birthday, gift vouchers are the answer. Simply contact us for details.

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street and for as long as want on the Esplanade. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm and Sunday 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
