Hello,
This week we have been quite active on Facebook, showing you a bit of what is happening when people are not looking. Here are a few pictures. Simply click on them to get the full story.
We have received the latest Metcalfe catalogues. There are two separate catalogues: one for N gauge and another one for OO scale. These are free with any order or if collected from the shop.
On the same token and under the same "free" rules, we have received the August issue of the Guide to Railway Modelling magazine. It has now a tabloid format, twice as big as before. It contains a very nice article on how to photograph yohttp://www.trainshop.co.uk/bargains/16852-railway-magazine-guide-to-modelling-august-2017.htmlur layout as well as an extensive article on DCC. Let us know your thoughts on the new format!
Hornby has been kind enough to send us some Maunsell coaches, both in Southern Railway and BR liveries. As usual with Maunsell coaches we do not expect them to be available for long so grab them while you can.
Finally, while we are waiting our next delivery from Die Waffenkammer, we have been busy adding Rubicon to the website. Any fan of WWII wargaming or even just collector of nice kits should consider them. They are plastic (while Die Waffenkammer's are resin) but are quite impressive. Here is a small selection taken out of their largish range:
Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street and for as long as want on the Esplanade. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm and Sunday 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
