As announced a few weeks ago, we are now the European distributor for Die Waffenkammer vehicles, both to consumers and to the trade.
The first shipment is already on its way and should be with us in a few days. Our wargames dedicated website is being finalised and will be open later this week with thousands of items from figures to tanks to bases to buildings to scenery. Please contact us if you want to receive a priority email when the website opens.
We aim to keep in stock the whole range (more than 150 armoured vehicles), including the "After 45" Weird War items however please note it will take a few weeks for us to have everything in stock, so in the meantime let us know of any specific need so we can prioritise accordingly and make sure your orders are the first the reach us.
In case you are not familiar with Die Waffenkammer, they are 28mm (1/56th) resin kits of very high quality, suitable for wargaming or dioramas. The official website is there: http://diewaffenkammer.com . Here are a few pictures to give you a better idea:
A bit of light can make a
huge difference to any layout but it can also create a focal point on
smaller diorama. Here is a selection of items which are fitted with LED lights. LED have got the advantage of not creating any heat, so they are safe near card or plastic buildings,
as well as close to scatter. They are easy to fit, most of them simply
require connecting to a 12V power source (an old controller will work
nicely) and some simply need fitting a decal on or quick assembly. If
requiring soldering, a quick and easy alternative is to use Wire Glue to connect the wires to the LED.
The examples below are OO gauge but some may also be suitable for larger scales. You can click on any image for full details.
Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street and for as long as want on the Esplanade. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm and Sunday 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
