Hello,

Let there be light! You will certainly excuse this cheap and easy pun, however we are delighted to now be offering the full range of lights from RMLectronics. This British company (from Yorkshire) creates amazing lamp posts and other lights. They are handcrafted with brass and are a real work of art. Here are a few pictures but please do ask to see them next time you visit us as they are really worth it.

Faller is a German company recognised for the quality of their kits. They are very detailed and at the same time, very easy to build. Their catalogue is huge and contains lots of exciting items. One such item is the attraction set. This contains everything including miniature wooden train, derelict castle, tables, benches and all the grass and lichen you need to create a very nice diorama or scene on a part of your layout. We have managed to get a very attractive price on this great box, making it not only a great addition to your layout but also something suitable as a present for friends or family. The box contains 350+ pieces, that is everything in this picture apart from the trees, the hills and the ground.

We talked last week about Auhagen and Kibri. Here are a few more items we have now received from them: a platform with accessories, pallets and machinery, a draw well, pylons, park lamp posts, and even a huge mobile crane. Please note this is just a small selection of what we carry from both brands. I strongly suggest you take the time to review what we have in stock.

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. And the car park in York Road is still free every Tuesday from 1pm so you can spend the afternoon with us. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
