Hello,

Following our newsletter last week (available here if you have missed it), lots of people were interested in the publication on signalling the layout dealing with semaphore signals. So many, that we sold out within a few minutes of sending the email. You will be glad to know we have now received extra copies. As usual, click on the picture for full details.

This is the time of the year when the main manufacturers announce their new ranges and publish their new catalogues. First up in OO gauge is Hornby with a full size catalogue this year (rather than the miniature one from last year.

Then we have the Bachmann 2017 catalogue. It is a full size catalogue covering the complete range of locomotives, controllers, wagons, coaches and buildings available from Bachmann.

In N gauge, the Graham Farish 2017 catalogue has just arrived. Full of N gauge wagons, coaches, engines and buildings.

And for all gauges, we have received the latest free Railway Magazine Guide to Modelling. This is the February issue and it covers the following:

The article on NEM couplings is definitely worth reading. It is full of details on the standard as well as great pictures and information. As usual, you get collect it for free from the shop or we can post it to you if you "order it" from our website. We also have a few copies left of the January issue.

We still have a couple of copies of the Railway Modeller Annual 2017. Grab it while you still can. This 124 page publication (including perfect-bound covers) covers a wide variety of subjects, including:

Are you a wargamer? Do you have an interest in wargaming? Do you enjoy painting figures? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you probably want to have a look at our Facebook page where we show some of the items to have reached us.

Finally, you will be glad to know that we reopen on Sundays from next week, February 5th. So you can again visit us on Sunday from 1pm till 4pm.

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street and for as long as want on the Esplanade. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
