Hello,

What a lovely week it has been on the Isle of Wight. Blue sea, yellow sun, a light breeze, warm but not too hot. All that was missing was a bit more time to do even more modelling!

So this week in the newsletter, we are going to be a bit biased and focus mostly on the Isle of Wight rolling stock.

As usual, simply click on any picture to get full details.

In OO gauge, Smallbrook Studio has released over the years lots of resin kits of wagons that used to run on the Island. They have also produced several coach kits, definitely suitable to go behind engines like the Terrier. They are well detailed kits, going well together and quite fun to make. Here is a small selection of their offering:

Talking about the Terrier, we usually have in stock all 5 of the Hornby Terriers in Isle of Wight liveries. They are second hand but fully serviced. Contact us if you are interested in one of them, as they come and go quite fast.

In N gauge, we mentioned them a few weeks ago and we are happy to say the Isle of Wight wagons we commissioned from Peco have now arrived. They are fully boxed in standard Peco boxes and we offer a special price on a set of 4:

Finally, there has been lots of activity recently on our Facebook page. We are not going to copy and paste what was said there, but here are a few pictures to give you an idea:

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
