We are happy to report the address of our website has changed. It is now www.trainshop.co.uk . We feel this name is easier to remember and spell than udiow.com . Please note, the former name will still be working for the foreseeable future, so do not worry about not being able to reach us, it will work! And of course, we are still Upstairs Downstairs, we just wanted to have a domain name less cryptic.
At the same time, we have updated the website logo. Have a look and tell us what you think. Can you recognise the locomotive?
Also, following several requests, we have now introduced an overnight delivery option to our website. To celebrate all those changes, we are delighted to offer free next day delivery for any order placed this week on www.trainshop.co.uk. Do you know we stock lots of Isle of Wight related coaches and buses in OO gauge? They are made by EFE and, based on experience, once they are sold out, they never re-appear. Here is a small selection of them:
Talking about selling out, you probably know we commissioned Dapol to make limited editions Isle of Wight wagons some time ago. Out of the four liveries initially available, we have only two left and they are going fast with less than 15 of each remaining. If you have not got one yet, now is probably your last chance...
Finally, for the scratch-builder, plastics and metals are the answer to most needs, whatever the scale you are in. Evergreen and Plastruct offer hundreds of sizes and shapes of plastic: strips, rods, tubes, trusses, stairs, ladders, I-beams, H columns, angles, ... in all sizes you can imagine, while K&S Metals do, well you guessed it, metals! Once again, the range is large with tubes, rectangular tubes, strips, rods, sheets, etc... Here are a few examples:

As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday. Website is open 24/7.
