1- go live very soon
2- make sure the website can be used on computers, tablets, mobile and is accessible (nice big pictures, text that can be read easily, ...)
3- once live, we will add tens of new products to the platform everyday, till the full stock is online
The idea behind this project is threefold:
1- if you are not from the Isle of Wight and have difficulties to visit us, you will then have an easy way to order from us.
2- if you are from the Island, you will have near real time view on our stock, so no more trip to our shop to discover we have run out of fishplates (mind you, THIS has never happened!).
3- if you live anywhere, you will see everything we stock and will be able to peruse at your leisure everything that is available. As you know our range is vast and sometimes an easy search function is to best tool to find that elusive kit you are not even sure exists (for instance, we have in stock several fountains in OO gauge, however we are not sure anyone has seen them!).

Now back to the real news!
In order to even better serve you, we have decided to keep in stock more items in O gauge. Amongst them are the O gauge accessories from Peco and some figures from Bachmann. have a look at the pictures:
Now, we understand O gauge is not for everyone as most people do not have the space. So, if you are in OO gauge, we have not forgotten you! We have received a lot of new cars and lorries from Oxford Diecast. Some of them are already proving very popular:
Finally, N gauge is usually forgotten from most manufacturers. However, this is not the case with Oxford. While they do not release the same vehicles in N gauge at the time they release them in OO gauge, there are still offering a wide range and regular new items. Here is a selection from the past few days. As you can see it even includes an Eddie Stobart truck!
Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
