For a model to look right, it has to have a certain amount of details. Some details are easy to replicate using raw materials (plastic, wood or metal) or even simply painted on. However for others you might need a little help.

This is where transfers can be a lifesaver. They will allow you to add all the signs and details your model require, without comprising accuracy. We keep in stock the range from several manufacturers, giving you maximum choice to get the right size, font, colour and logo. Here are a few examples.

Let me start with Historical Model Railway Society (HMRS) which produces transfers in OO gauge. They are highly detailed transfers, backed by years of research to guarantee accuracy. They cover the Big Four, as well as BR and also include lining (ideal for coaches for example).

Modelmaster offers a huge range of decals, including several variations of the BR crests. To give you an idea of the size of the range, we do keep in stock 10 different sheets of GWR transfers. They are available in OO gauge as well as N gauge.

Other suppliers also manufacture transfers. They include Cooper Craft (they do sets of various numbers suitable for rolling stock) and Woodland Scenics with a range of several generic alphabet sheets, available in several fonts and colours.

Finally, just a quick reminder gift vouchers are available all year round. If you are looking for a present for someone or a beloved does not know what to give you for your birthday, gift vouchers may be the answer.

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
