With the new year come new catalogues and new products. The first catalogues to reach our shores are Hornby 2015 and Airfix/Humbrol 2015.
We are expecting them later this week (they are due to leave Margate on Wednesday). Just let us know if you want a 2015 catalogue or two to be put aside for you so you are one of the first in the UK to have one.
Talking about publications, we have the following left:
Two copies of Railway Modeller Annual 2015
Only one copy of Hornby 2014 catalogue, discounted to £3.50.
A few copies of Airfix/Humbrol 2014 catalogue, reduced to £2.50
Please note the Airfix catalogue includes extensive Humbrol colour charts.
Several other old-ish catalogues: Lilliput 2013 and 2014, Bachmann 2013 and before, Graham Farish 2013, Dapol 2013, Hornby 2012 and before, Noch 2012, Woodland Scenics 2012, etc... Limited quantities of each (most of the time only one or two copies) and sold at heavily discounted prices. If you want to own a piece of history, have reference material on hand or simply want the opportunity to cut out nice pictures of what you own, this is the right time.
We also have one copy left of Ramsay's British Model Trains 8th Edition (released a few months ago). This is not a yearly publication but it is released every 3 years on average. It covers every single item (engine, wagon, coach, etc...) released in the UK with description and valuation, from O gauge to N gauge and from Bachmann to Hornby to Lima to Heljan to Wrenn. A must have if you buy second hand items and want to pay the right price. This is a set of two volumes.
And finally, the following two high quality magazines, one step up from the magazines you get from your newsagent:
FineScale Modelling Magazine issue number 1
Narrow Gauge and Industrial Magazine issue number 100
Once again, we have only a few copies of each.
Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
