We are getting very close to the end of the year and with it, the annual closure of most of our suppliers. If you require anything before mid January, we strongly recommend you let us know now as most suppliers will not ship anything to us between the 15th of December and the 5th of January. Please note, we are happy to keep items aside for you for a few days if it helps. So you can order now and collect after Christmas if you wish.

We have received several new locomotives from Heljan in OO gauge. As you know, the Danish manufacturer is known for its high accuracy and weighted locomotives, giving them extra pulling power.

We have a few Hymeks (Class 35), some Class 128 DPU including a nicely weathered "Scooby Doo" one, Class 31 locomotives and a few other. If you have never owned a Heljan loco, please ask for a demo next time you are visiting us, you will be surprised.

Metcalfe OO gauge range has finally caught up with the N gauge range and this week we received the retaining walls, bridges and various other kits that we had seen in N gauge a few weeks ago.

Finally, we have restocked our Noch and Preiser display units, both in N gauge and OO gauge, full of wonderful figures and accessories. Here are a few examples below. Did you know that Noch did some OO gauge motorbikes? Well worth considering putting next to the illuminated Christmas tree they make as well!

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. And the car park in York Road is still free every Tuesday from 1pm so you can spend the afternoon with us. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
