Do not miss Wightrail 2017, the annual exhibition from the Wight Model Railway Group.This takes place next weekend (Saturday 4th and Sunday 5h November) at Medina Leisure Centre in Newport (PO30 2DX) from 10am till 5pm.
As last year, the show will occupy the whole hall at Medina and will feature more than 20 layouts, some of them visiting the Island for the first time. Gauges will include the usual OO, N, OO9 as well as the more unusual 3mm, S scale, O gauge and a radio controlled Gauge 3 layout.
And you can also expect as well as traders, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, the Vectis Rail Enthusiasts Group, the Medway Queen Paddle Steamer Preservation Society and more.

People and animals bring life to a layout. They add to the story you are trying to tell and as such are very important.
We already had lots of figures and animals, both the N gauge and OO/HO gauge however, we thought we could offer a bit more choice. This is why we have now added the full range of figures and animals from Woodland Scenics in OO/HO scale.
They are of good quality as you would expect from the American manufacturer and offer alternatives to the common Preiser and Noch figures. It means between the three brands you should be able to coaches with seated people without having to use the same figures twice. Here are some examples below. Their range also include some very American centric items such as baseball players, cowboys or American football players. They will be perfectly at home on any HO layout. Here are a few examples:

We place weekly orders with most suppliers.
Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!
