Hello,

It is with delight we are happy to announce that we now stock Terry Jones' book on the history of Isle of Wight bus company Shotters. Packed with lots of historical facts as well as pictures, both in black & white and colour, this is a must-read for anyone interested in coaches or in the history of the Island. Click on the picture to get inside views.

Health and safety requirements means that fencing is mandatory along railway track. So for your layout to look real, you need to have some fencing in place.

The type of fencing varies greatly from place to place and over time, with several types being used such as GWR Spear fencing or Southern concrete panels at a later date. It pays to do a bit of research if you want to be accurate. Luckily, there are numerous kits and fencing packs available in all scales, so you should be able to get the one you need. This includes less common scales.

The white one below is in G scale while the brown one is in O gauge. As usual click on the pictures for more details.

Here are a few examples in OO gauge including security fencing for urban areas...

And a few more in N gauge...

We also stock raw materials for you to create your own fencing, such as wire mesh or even printed stick-on paper with fencing design.

The list is very large, so click here if you want to see them all. Please note we usually keep sufficient quantities in stock however should you require larger amounts, contact us and we will get them for you in less than a week.

Send us an email or give us a call to check availability or to reserve anything, whatever scale you model in. As usual, if we do not have in stock what you are looking for, we will order it for you and you will get it fast (usually within a week if the manufacturer has it in stock). We place weekly orders with most suppliers.

Remember, you can park for free for one hour on the High Street. So no excuse not to come and visit us!

Upstairs Downstairs is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4.30pm, Sunday from 1pm till 4pm. We are closed only on Monday.
